Our Mission
From infants in diapers to young men and women behind the wheel, children are a vibrant part of the Church. We laugh, play, serve and engage with them as they learn to love & to be loved by Christ. We believe these years are formative for their future and vital for God's work now. We pursue and follow 4 main ways of serving our communities,
- Respectful Service: God is already at work in individuals, church and communities, and we use Jesus' example of servant-leadership to join those who work to keep our communities running. Throughout our partnerships within our community, we listen closely, speak carefully and serve humbly. Respectful service is more effective and live-giving.
- Relationships; We pursue intentional interactions, restored relationships and ongoing friendships. Using the ministry of Jesus as our example, we prioritize loving and serving people over programs, projects and plans. The experiences we create encourage authentic connectors with others and with God.
- Diversity; We value different styles of work, stories of faith, stages of life, sets of resources, tones of skin and expressions of culture, and invite others to do the same. By leaving comfort zones to listen and learn from each other, we can more deeply include, interact with and express the diverse beauty of God's Kingdom.
- Development; We are committed to pushing out of our comfort zones and exploring new opportunities. We humbly continue to seek growth as we listen and learn from those around is, deepen our understanding and determine direction.
Our mission is to lead our future generations to Christ. We want to provide a safe and fun environment for kids to grow in their faith and learn about Jesus. We also want to equip parents and families with the resources they need to raise strong, smart, Christ-like kids who are brave, knowledgeable and centered on Jesus, not the ways of the world.
Our Vision
At Destiny Church of Central Florida, we have a simple hope: to see people come to know Jesus Christ and grow in their Christian faith. For 8 years, we've been helping spread God's good news here in our hometown and throughout the world, and we pray that God will continue to use our congregation. Whether you've been attending church for years or haven't stepped into a sanctuary in decades, we hope you'll come and join us if you're looking for a church in the Ocala, Florida area. We are believers in the Holy Ghost and Fire, and we will yield to the Spirit and follow his lead, whether through preaching, or a word of prophesy, or even a song, we are here to hear from Him! No matter what your Christian background is (or isn't), we hope you'll join us on Sunday to feel the presence of Jesus that fills our sanctuary.
Here at Destiny Church of Central Florida, you'll find people of all sizes, stripes and colors, and we welcome everyone --including you! Our services start at 11 AM every Sunday, 7 PM every Wednesday, and Youth Nights are every Saturday at 6 PM - we can't wait to see you there!
Our Beliefs, simple and sound.
We believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, God from God, Light from Light, Word from word, begotten, not made; of the same essence as the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven; he became incarnate by the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary, and was made human.
He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate; he suffered and was buried.
The third day he rose again, according to the Scriptures.
He ascended to heaven and is seated as the authority and power(right hand) of the Father.
He will come again with glory to judge the living and the dead.
His kingdom will never end.
And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life.
He proceeds from the Father, and with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified as one.
He spoke through the prophets, and to the Apostles, as well as those who receive him, with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
We believe in one holy apostolic church.
We affirm one Lord, one Faith, and one baptism of the Holy Spirit.
We look forward to the resurrection of the dead, and to life in the world to come.
